About Family Anime Festa 2025

What is Family Anime Festa 2025?

Family Anime Festa 2025 is a sister-event of AnimeJapan 2025, hosted by the same organizer. It takes place on March 22 [Sat] – 23 [Sun] 2025 at the East Exhibition Hall 8, open only for family attendees.
Any attendee that is at elementary school age (and under) and their guardians are free to enter.
*For attendees over middle school age to enter AnimeJapan 2025, admission ticket for AnimeJapan 2025 is required.

What kind of event is Family Anime Festa 2025?

It is an anime-event targeting families and children.
It presents various programs including exhibit booths, and Family Anime Stage.

How much is the admission fee?

This area is admission free. However, entrance is limited to elementary school children and under, as well as their guardians.

Are there any areas that cost money? What forms of payment are accepted?

The Workshop Area and Food Area have costs associated with them.
Workshop Area: Cash only
Food Area: Cash, other forms of payment (varies by vendor)

What should I do in case I wish to enter AnimeJapan 2025 after entering Family Anime Festa 2025?

If you want to enter AnimeJapan 2025 straight from Family Anime Festa 2025, please wait in line at the end of the general admission line for AnimeJapan 2025.
After the general admission line for AnimeJapan 2025 clears, you can enter directly from the Family Anime Festa 2025.
*Elementary school age children and younger can enter AnimeJapan 2025 free of charge. However, accompanying adults and other children middle school age and older must buy a ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the Information Booth inside Family Anime Festa or at the AnimeJapan same-day ticket booth.

Is there a specific admission gate?

Family Anime Festa 2025 has its own admission gate to enter directly.
*Admission is limited to elementary school children and under, as well as their guardians.

Visiting and Admission

How do accompanying adults enter later to join their children who are already inside?

We will be checking that adults are accompanying children when they enter. If an adult wants to enter later, the child inside must first meet them at the entrance. After confirming that the adult is accompanying a child, the adult will be able to enter.

Where does the shuttle bus operate?

A free shuttle bus exclusively for families will operate between Kokusai Tenjijo Station on the Rinkai Line and an area near Tokyo Big Sight East Hall 8.

Where can I get on the shuttle bus?

At the Rinkai Line Kokusai Tenjijo Station, the shuttle stop is at the roundabout in front of the station exit. There will be staff holding Family Anime Festa signs directing you to the shuttle stop.
At Tokyo Big Sight, the shuttle stop is to the south after exiting East Hall 8. Ask staff at the venue for more details.

How much does the shuttle cost?

The shuttle bus is free. However, only visitors to Family Anime Festa may ride. As with admission, adults cannot ride the shuttle alone.

Can anyone ride the shuttle?

Only visitors to Family Anime Festa may ride. As with admission, adults cannot ride the shuttle alone. You must be accompanied by your children when riding the shuttle.

For those bringing small children

Can I bring my stroller inside the venue?

Yes, you can.
However, the venue will be very crowded, so please be careful when navigating the venue.
Also, strollers are not allowed in the stage viewing area.
Please use the stroller storage area in the venue.

Are you renting a stroller?

We are sorry but we do not offer that service.

Is there a nursing room and diaper-changing space?

Both of those are available in the venue. Please be mindful of other users when crowded.

Is there hot water available for baby milk in the venue?

Unfortunately we do not have that service available.
